Dear Toastmasters,
To
support the District’s mission, of developing a pool of dynamic, skilled
Toastmasters, capable of delivering effective training to achieve the critical
goals of enhancing performance, offering a greater
numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from the Toastmasters educational
program while building and sustaining healthy Clubs the District will
host a series of Train the Trainer Workshops. The first District Trainer’s
Workshop was held in May 2006. The next,
will be held at the 2006 October Conference in
Track 1 –
Introductory Trainers’ Workshop for first time trainees and beginners
designed to prepare participants to conduct training at the club level
Track 2 –
Level 2 Trainer’s Workshop for Trainers who completed the session in May 2006 and
or persons with proven track record as Trainers. This session aims to prepare
participants to conduct training at area level including club officer’s
training.

Interested
participants are required to complete the registration form and submit to the Lt Governor Education and
Training by

training is at no cost to registered conference participants.
To
be recognized as District Trainers, trainees are required to attend workshops,
and assist in planning and implementing training stating at the club and area level.
It should be noted however, that your participation in the workshop does not
mean an automatic inclusion into the pool of trainers.
Important:
Only twenty-five spaces are allocated to each workshop on a first
come first server basis. This is to
ensure that the workshop is properly coordinated.
