District Services
Board of the District 81 - Caribbean including the Division Governor provide a number of services
to clubs within the district.
The main goal of the council is to continue building and
sustaining clubs to become full District by April 2008. To do so the
district must achieve Distinguished District Status. The
strategies of the district are layout in the District Success Plan
developed with the full participation of club, area, and division
leaders.
Within District 81

Clubs are asked to submit
the club success plan by July 31
-
Area are expected to
submit Area performance plan and Budget by August 15
-
Division are required to
submit Division performance plan & budget by August 31
Prerequisites for achieving
of the District Distinguished Status
Online District Executive Meetings are held monthly
with District Officers and Division Governors on the 1st Wednesday of
each month.
Quarterly, Area Governors are invited to attend the
Online Executive Meetings.
Business Meeting are held semi-annually at the May
and October Conferences

The Secretariat of the Council is responsible for:

Administering the records and
documents of the Council including minutes, reports, distribution and
processing of proxy forms and other dorms & documents.

The main source of funding for
the District is percentage of the per capita payment received from clubs
semi-annually.
Club dues are dues twice yearly by
October 1 and April 1, from
Toastmasters International.
