Conference Program ActivitiesEducational sessionsThere are usually
5-7 educations sessions on the conference’s program. Days 1 and 2 start with a
General Education session for all participants. Presenters for these sessions are all excellent, experienced Caribbean Toastmasters.
Speech ContestsThe Humorous Speech Contest and the Evaluation Contest for October 2010 will be held on Saturday October 16, 2010.
The Names of each contestant along with Eligibility Forms and Bios must be submitted to Lt. Governor Education and Training at least 2 weeks before the scheduled date of the contest.
These forms are available from TI as part of the speech contest material. If an individual is competing in both competitions, separate Eligibility forms must be submitted.
Please review and study the Toastmasters International Speech Contest Guidelines as well as the District Speech Contest Guidelines and ensure your territory, area, clubs and contestants are in compliance.
Officers Training Sessions Session 1 - For Club Officers, Club mentors, sponsors, and coaches. Session 2 – For District Officers (District Executive, Division Governors & and Area Governor)
Business MeetingsThe next General
Business meeting of District 81 is scheduled for Saturday, October 16, 2010 starting
at 10:00 am at the Paradise Beach Hotel. All Club Delegates and District Council
members are expected to attend the General Business Meeting. Please read your
manuals or visit the district website for more information about voting and
proxy forms. The agenda will be circulated at least 14 days before the meeting
date.
Dinner and Awards CeremonyDay 2 of the conference closes with an evening of elegance and celebration at the Dinner and Awards Ceremony.
